I was working terrible hours on terrible weekend nights back then. The job, too, was actually pretty terrible. Having resigned myself from university - unbeknownst to my family - and never earning enough to pay for the roof over my head, life seemed pretty pointless. Not to be too down on myself, but when one has to live off of toast for the better part of a year, something’s amiss.

A year or so on and little has changed, apart from my working a seemingly dead end job. Whilst I try and wonder how on earth I am meant to be a writer for a living, or for the lesser part of a living, I’m just going through the motions of surviving. In fact it’s very easy to forget that my mother still thinks I’m at university, and that she’s supposed to be visiting for my graduation oh so very soon. However, a few missed calls from home the past few days and my ignoring them can only last for so long. It’s also reminded me that I’m going to have to come clean very, very soon.

And so this all brings me to one conclusion - two actually - that I’m a very bad son, and that no amount of Kamei-chan can save me from…myself?

Many worried walks down streets I have no destinations for and many cigarettes later, I’m still anxious about my having to confess in the next couple of days, but there you have it. I am useless.

Regardless…whilst we have a laugh at my future prospects, lets all enjoy some Kamei, because actually, I think she could save me if she wanted to. Otherwise I'm taking crack with Koha behind the bike sheds.

Aichan and food

Maybe it's because this particular H!M episode I screen captured from is in high definition, or that Aichan infact looks stunning when eating in this little segment, but yes, I think she looks stunning here. Everything about these few seconds of camera time had me thinking: damn, I want a lunch date with Aichan.

Sayu cleary doesn't give a s*** who's watching - Gaki and a television audience - because she's got food and for the love of f****** god, she's going to eat that b****. It's really endearing how any sort of proper eating etiquette doesn't really exist as it might do in the idol world. I mean, this is a real turn on. Watching Sayu eat like a monster. But then it's not quite backwards is it? I'm striving to relate Sayu to common sensibilities. This would include eating like a normal person should eat. It's all about emotion, and she's pissed and angry and horny for food. Our guest of the week seems very happy, and that makes me happy too. yey! ^^

H!P Battle Royale: Part 6

Chapter 6: coming to terms.

Takitty pulled herself ashore. The low lying rocks speared besides her, but potholes of deeper water cupped between the dagger-like mounds, creating a lesser evil of many in a brutal ocean. She found some beach and lay still on the sand, trying to catch her breath as best she could. That wasn’t to be much though, as an explosion had previously shook the very ground she lay on, and even the water that she tired so hard to crawl out of moved. Now she lay on a small shoreline, Takitty, slightly cut and very battered. “This…this is killing us” she whispered tiredly, and then in an instant, her eyes deepened with the sky as it rained, and she fell into a shivering sleep. Perhaps she’d find a safe place here. Dying in her sleep, she thought, would be the best way to go.

“F****** hell! Sayu!!!!! You stupid b***!!!” screamed Mikitty. “Why! Why did you have to…” She began to the epicentre of the explosion, although nobody could even begin to know where it was. Through the smoke and the blackness of fire, the red and oranges of the heat, Mikitty stubbled haphazardly towards anything and everything. Mikitty cried and cried and cried. She hated herself, so much. She hated Yossi. She hated Sayu. She hated Kamei. She hated everyone. But as she continued to whale out in pain, she missed them all too, even though Kamei and Yossie were close by. They were gone to her, and she was left all alone, looking for a dead friend.

Yossi was still in shock, but she could only do what she’d want others to do to her in a situation like this. A situation that nobody is ever prepared for. “Stop it!!! Stop it Mikitty” let out Yossi, and she gripped her friend as hard as she could, a hug from behind that forced them both to the warm ground. “She’s gone. She saved us from the tiger, and she’s gone Mikitty”. It was as if Yossi was trying to unravel the situation herself. Neither could listen to the words though, and both lay crying on the ground, Yossi holding Mikitty who couldn’t even speak anymore.

Kamei feigned to the left in exhaustion and anchored her broken leg on a bump in the ground. “Risako…Momo, are they alright?”

Yossi ignored the question, as she knew ahead of the others, that it wasn’t Rii’s side that she hit with the crossbow, but somewhere a lot more worrying. She continued to cry, harder this time, as she felt too many burdens being placed upon her shoulders. “I didn’t mean to shoot” she whispered to herself “I didn’t mean to shoot”.

Nono stepped onto a low walking path. She’d been trenching through woodland for far too long, and she couldn’t stop thinking about her family back in Tokyo. The thought of not being with them worried her, but thinking of their smiling faces gave her the strength to continue on, too. She never began to know where she was headed, but she pushed forward and was finally rewarded with a trail. Where it lead, she’d have to find out. Nono was scared of course, and the rain didn’t help. It greyed everything around her and every tree trunk became another gawking watchman. She was glad to have finally found some open road. Nono began to walk in either direction. A random compass of guessing.

Along the path, Nono was interrupted by a faint noise. The noise grew and it crept closer and closer. Nono was scared but very curious. As far as she could guess it was probably another H!P member, which was a good thing in her mind. Out from the trees appeared a rather startled character. A familiar face at once, but there was uncertainty with shock. The figure dropped to her knees and clenched the putty-like floor in despair. “thank god I found you” she coughed. “ I’ve been running for hours now, and not a person in sight”.

The figure looked up and everything suddenly stopped. The rain darted down on mute, the wind tip-toed without a trace it would seem. Nono’s heart plummeted. “A…Aibon?” she quivered.

Shocking Kamei

Kamei's in for a little shock, as the red team have just been defeated by the blue team in one of those classic H!M battle segments. Although 'battle' is a little flattering. Still, shaping the japanese language with your body is still a tough task - sometimes - and the red team come out loosers. pffttt...you suck ass red team XD. Sayu's a little worried for our resident turtle, which comes as no suprise, considering they were close at one point - although many will tell me I'm sure, that this bond still exists. I hope it does. Anyway, Takitty and Risa don't really care about Kamei by the looks of things.

Risa's really going for it now, and I admire her for laughing in the face of another friend's predicament . My first (Yey ^^) and perhaps last (No!) Sayu and H!P tribute Vid

So I had a few hours free before my nightshift yesterday, and I thought - on a whim - that making a H!P related video would be a good way to play out the time. Oh f*** no it wasn't! It took me those few hours, and a few hours after work to get this thing completed. And it took youtube forever to upload it. In fact, I left my laptop on and just drifted off in the end. Thankfully my new laptop doesn't have a fan that sounds like world war two mixed in with any end boss battle scene in power rangers.

I think the fact that I got so caught up in the material from the word go had me geeking all over the place, hence the fact it took me a good day to do. But then I'm not exactly suprised, although I was, so the very fact that I suprised myself on something so obviously me, is kind of funny now. I would've given you a different answer a few hours ago though, and probably fight you.

Anyway, I rarely ever promote my stuff, but I feel inclined to just this once, because it took me so bloody long to do, and whether or not it's good is only semi-relevant. This stupid, supposedly leisurely project is now a part of me, on some silly level. So please, if you're interested, give it a watch :)

haha, trying to do simple things like match up, or re-sync certain parts took forever, considering I was using the worst editing program ever. My excuse on the offset was that I couldn't - and I really couldn't - be bothered to download anything decent. Still, it was a challenge that I enjoyed in parts. And really, it gave me a chance to look back through past h!p stuff. Man, now I'm missing lots of things all over again O_O. Suprisingly for me, the one clip of Aibon I put in always makes me want to cry. I dont physically go through the process, but I kind of want to for some reason. weird. Or maybe not. She probably just reminds me of past MM.

I realised my slight downfall about halfway through editing. The song I chose and hold dear to me is actually 8 minutes long. But I found that despite this, there were still too many moments to mention that I wanted to cram in...but then can you, I, whoever sit through 8 minutes? I know I can, but thats because this thing is my baby. It might be different for you. Anyway, I didn't want to use Kamei as a constant theme to hold together the wider picture on this one, as I thought it'd be best to leave that be for now, but Sayu was a good candidate, considering she makes me smile all the time.

So you haven't shaken off the tail-end of your jetlag yet, and you've spent all morning splashing about in a water park - high on crack and high on good, mental-tastic vibes. Brilliant!
